Fil-Am FEST Inc. is committed to creating a welcoming, inclusive, and family-friendly environment at all our events. Whether indoors or outdoors, we ask all participants—attendees, vendors, performers, volunteers, and staff—to uphold these values to ensure a positive experience for everyone. These guidelines apply to all Fil-Am FEST Inc. events unless stated otherwise.

1. General Event Policies

Admission & Registration

  • – Free admission for all attendees unless otherwise specified. Registration is encouraged for updates and event perks.
  • – Vendors and sponsors must apply in advance at www.filamfestinc.org.

Code of Conduct

  • – Be respectful, courteous, and mindful of others.
  • – Harassment, discrimination, or disruptive behavior will not be tolerated.
  • – Attendees engaging in misconduct may be asked to leave without a refund (if applicable).

Lost & Found

  • – The Information Booth will serve as the Lost & Found area.
  • – Report lost items immediately; event organizers are not responsible for lost or stolen belongings.

Photography & Media

  • – By attending, guests agree to potentially being photographed or recorded for promotional purposes.
  • – Professional photography and videography require prior authorization.

2. Respectful Conduct & Community Guidelines

Family-Friendly Environment

  • – Our events are designed for all ages, prioritizing a safe and respectful atmosphere.
  • – No explicit, sexual, or controversial content, including music, artwork, or vendor products.

Respectful Interactions

  • – Encourage courteous communication among attendees, vendors, performers, and staff.
  • – Discrimination, harassment, or offensive behavior will not be tolerated.

Adherence to Guidelines

  • – All participants must fully comply with event policies to maintain a harmonious experience.
  • – Failure to follow guidelines may result in removal and potential restrictions on future participation.

3. List of Prohibited Items

  • – Weapons – Firearms, knives, or sharp objects.
  • – Alcohol & Illegal Substances.
  • – Hazardous Materials – Flammable liquids, fireworks, explosives.
  • – Drones or Unmanned Aerial Vehicles.
  • – Laser Pointers.
  • Outside Food & Beverages – Except for medical dietary needs.
  • – Pets or Animals – Only service animals allowed.
  • – Large Backpacks or Bags – Small, clear bags preferred.

4. Safety & Security Guidelines

General Safety

  • – Stay alert and aware of your surroundings at all times.
  • – Emergency exits will be clearly marked—please familiarize yourself with their locations.

Crowd Control & Outdoor Safety

  • – The event area is designed for open movement to avoid congestion.
  • – Follow staff and security instructions in case of an emergency.

5. Material Distribution & Vendor Selling

Authorization

  • – Only registered vendors and sponsors may distribute materials and sell products.
  • – Unauthorized selling or promotional distribution is strictly prohibited.

Sales Conduct

  • – Engage in courteous, professional sales practices.
  • – Aggressive selling tactics or disruptive behavior is prohibited.

6. Incident Handling & Enforcement

Immediate Reporting

  • – Report any incidents, including unauthorized selling or violations, to event staff or security.

Event Staff Authority

  • – Event organizers and security personnel have the authority to enforce policies and take necessary action.

7. Refunds & Cancellations

  • – The event is rain or shine, but safety precautions may lead to schedule adjustments.
